Mixed Berry Moscow Mule Cocktail Recipe

Saddle-up with this fruity variation on the classic Moscow Mule! 
As with most of our cocktails we enjoy taking a proven classic and giving it a little Newy Distillery twist to add something a little different, whether it's the weekend or not! 
This version of the Moscow Mule is made with our Mixed Berry Fruit-infused Vodka, which adds a little sweetness to this tangy, refreshing cocktail.
Incidentally, the Moscow Mule (thought to be created sometime in the USA during the 1940's) is said to have gained its name from America's association of Vodka with Russia (Moscow) and the 'kick' provided by ginger beer (Mule). 
We hope you get a 'kick' out of this delicious cocktail, best served in copper Moscow Mule mugs to keep it cooler for longer! 
RECIPE
 
Ingredients:
45ml Newy Distillery Mixed Berry Vodka
15ml Fresh Lime Juice
1 handful of mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries)
Ginger Beer
Ice
Mixed berries and mint to garnish
Method:
1. Pour the vodka, fresh lime juice and berries into a shaker or mixing jug.
2. Muddle.
3. Strain to remove liquid (optional - do not strain for a fruitier drink).
4. Pour into a Moscow Mule mug.
5. Add ice.
6. Top with ginger beer.
7.Add berries and mint to garnish.
